We Love GOOD Food, and we know you do too! We started our business in 2009, selecting and importing Italian Specialty delicacies from small artisan producers from the Italian Countryside. We work with producers who have the passion to create superior quality products, all natural, organic, non-GMO, and those certainly made with love. Many of whom are working their family farms, passed down through the generations of well-tilled nutrient rich soil. Enjoy the fine selections of farm fresh Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oils, perfectly aged Balsamic Vinegars from Modena. Honey from the fresh open air in Valdobbiadene and a decadent array of wild truffle products from Alba.
Our in-house made confections brand Lick My Spoon is made by Master Chocolatier and Confectioner, Kristine, trained by her mom growing up in baking, and professionally in Milan, Italy. The brand has a whimsical feel of nostalgia, noted in the name of the brand, to the lovely packaging and lovely delights she creates. Her specialties are the Italian traditional pastries to the American Classics she grew up with snacking on. She uses local ingredients, when always possible fresh cream from Dakin dairy in Myakka City, and local herbs and her hand candied citrus. Using the best fresh quality ingredients, non-GMO, organic, in fruits, herbs, spices and liqueurs, makes a delicious and feel good delightful treat. Those ingredients that come from afar, are certified Fair Trade or Organic from the Cocoa Beans for her chocolate, to the Fleur de Sel from Brittany France to enhance flavors. She has won numerous national awards and recognized favorably in the press, Food and Wine Magazine, and the TODAY show to name a few of her accomplishments.
